I must start off by saying “Sylvia is wonderful” When I found out I was pregnant with my third baby, I called Sylvia as I had a retained placenta with my previous two babies. I was not able to have another home birth due to this. Sylvia spent time to ensure she chose the right remedy for my particular situation. She has such a kind and caring approach … it is evident she really wants to give special attention to each person’s individual needs. She did several follow ups to ensure things were ok. The most amazing thing of all was that my placenta was delivered with ease not long after my little boy was born. The midwives were amazed and they said when someone has had two retained placentas, it is just a given that it will happen again. THANK YOU SYLVIA!!!!

Just 2 days before I was to be induced at the hospital with our first child I finally called Sylvia for help. I really wanted to go into labour naturally and tried some other natural options with no results. My friend told me to try a homeopath that she knew. Acute Family Care:
Sylvia is my saviour. When I have a question or concern, it is Sylvia I turn to and she is always quick and efficient about getting back to me. Recently my one year old had a fever and was generally not feeling well. On Friday, I took him to the Doctor, for a diagnoses,who gave a prescription 'just in case' as my son’s ears were both very red. I then contacted Sylvia, who was able to send me a list of remedies and other useful information to help him out. He seemed to be getting better by the next day (without the use of the prescription). On Tuesday, we went back to our Doctor and he said the ears looked as if the antibiotic had been taken. I am thankful for the support in acute alternative health care choices that Sylvia provides.

My real introduction to homeopathic practices and principles started when I consulted with Sylvia Pantic after three weeks of trying common and traditional veterinarian prescribe drugs and rehabilitation methods for my dog Jake (a nine year old Great Dane and Lab mix)
He had apparently torn a tendon or quadriceps in his rear leg. Or at least that’s what my regular vet had informed me after a 5 minute consult. I was given typical pain killers and anti inflammatory drugs and told to ‘try’ these for two weeks. Or undergo exploratory surgery to find the real problem. If it was the tendon then there would be a 50% chance of the surgery working and if it did heal then optimistically there was a chance that he may get 60% of his mobility back. Of course it would be very vulnerable and easy to reinjure it again…… “so I should really consider putting him down”. This just seemed so severe, I was shocked. I did not want to put him down. So I took him home and tried the prescribed drugs but Jakes conditioned worsen over the two week period to a point where he could barely walk. He would move twice a day to relieve himself outside. It had even become so painful that Jake need help climbing up a single step. He lived on my 4’ x 4’ landing for the two weeks. I was devastated. I could try the $3500 dollar surgery and he may be able to walk but probably not climb a set of stairs let alone run and play like he did before. I had no idea what to do.
I had mentioned this to Sylvia and she suggested that she come by and have a look at Jake. I was willing to try anything at this point. Her gentle approach and manner was a great relief to both Jake and I.
Sylvia prescribed a homeopathic treatment, chosen with care and specifically for him at that time. She also reminded me of the power of a positive attitude and energy. Within a short time Jake began to brighten up and slowly regain his energy and enthusiasm. Over the following month, Jake has regained his mobility and Sylvia has altered the remedies according to his symptoms, and he has continually improved.
A truly unique and amazing aspect of the care that I have received from Sylvia has been her way of linking the wellness of the human with the wellness of the animal. I cannot begin to describe how transforming this has been for me. I feel more energetically and emotionally connected to my canine friend and within myself as well. Sylvia’s approach is loving, knowledgeable, and reaches levels of healing that are subtle yet highly effective. The more I am willing to discover about myself during our consultations, the more I am able to help Jake. There's a very special bond between humans and their pets, and I am so happy that I’m now aware and able to tap into it, thanks to Sylvia.
